Neck straps or Jump Straps, as they are commonly known,  are suitable for all riders, no matter what their ability. They give security to the rider as an extra help in those “Oh, bother”, moments.

Our neck/jump straps are perfectly suited for competition for all sizes of equines. They can either be connected to the Saddle D’s by an adjustable leather strap, or add the leather extender, (included), to hook over the stirrup bar. This makes them safe, as they cannot come lose during competition.

William Fox Pitt, a top UK jumper, has never ridden without one. His mother enforced them as a child to stop pulling on the horse’s mouth, and he is still using them to this day.

Currently only available in brown. (I will order them in black if there’s sufficient interest). Neck/jump straps should sit a hands-width in front of the shoulder.
